The Journey is designed to help you gain confidence in your relationship with God. Since Jesus Christ is the basis of that relationship, we will review the commitment you have made to Him. We’ll also consider how God’s love motivated Him to send His only Son to this world. We will look at how Jesus died to save us from the penalty and power of sin and offer us the gift of eternal life. As you more fully comprehend the love of God seen in Christ, you will gain great confidence in your relationship with Him.
The Journey is going to introduce you to lots of new concepts, but don’t worry about understanding everything all at once. Consider this an overview of important truths that you will learn and relearn throughout your entire Christian life. These truths will help you put your confidence in God right from the beginning.
