Today we are finishing up our series called “Our church is …” We have been looking at characteristics or core values that should identify us as a church. These characteristics will help us fulfill our church’s mission and vision. So far we have looked at these characteristics:
- Our church is committed to one another.
- Our church is authentic.
- Our church is growing in Christlikeness.
- Our church is caring.
- Our church is prayerful.
Today we come to “Our church is … passionate about reaching lost people.”
I am going to do things a little bit different this morning. I have a video I would like to show on our subject today. This is a video by Craig Groeschel from Lifechurch in Oklahoma. There are two reasons why I chose this video. First, Craig talks about a man who was very passionate about lost people – Charles Finney. And second, because Craig is a very passionate speaker himself. My prayer is that we will capture some of this passion that we hear in this message today.
